Door Upholstery

Post by ObsidianRadio »

Hey all!

I'm considering some ideas in regards to both my own and the lady's FTOs upholstery...

I would like to attempt to upholster some of the door skin components in different materials, but I've NOT done this before... Always worth a try, right?

Does anybody on here have much experience in terms of upholstery, and what tips can you offer?

Of course I'll be conducting my first run on the black FTO! :troll:

Thanks man, - I've noticed that the only people who have a chance of liking it are all Gen Y.
Had several positive and negative comments about it. It's definitely a conversation starter because most people haven't seen or heard of it before!

Not ALL Gen Y meanwhile. :P

Meanwhile, there are some good videos on youtube on how to do interior stuff.
I have only done a gearshifter in Suede.
Turned out ok for a first attempt, but yeah, video tuts are good!
