Spraying alloys black...

Help! Ok so I just painted my standard alloys black... Then spent 3 hours stripping the paint off :( how the hell can I make them black? It didn't work the paint went bubbly and sh*t and looked foul! I cleaned the rims first, then used undercoat then gloss black wtf went wrong ??? Anyone who can help me I'd really appreciate it :)

Theyll look heaps better shiny silver than black, the car is already black.

Did you use the correct paint?
Maybe watch the MCM episode for more tips? :lol:

I've always had black on black... I was planning in getting a rim and tyre package but mechanic cost me 1600, and I need another 600 to do the tappits :(

Well the guy at autobarn said I'd be sweet, he did his with the same products and it turned out great?

Also silver gpx... Did the driver side window have problems when u knew the car? It won't shut unless the doors open. I press up and the stupid thing goes to the top then half way back down!!! Extremely annoying!!!

was it a f**k cold morning you were trying to paint on? didn't shake the can enough?

Yep.

Ive realigned the window but it still had the same problem.

Its had a smash on that door, i had to do a dodgy repair to align the motor straight again. You'll see if you take the door card off.

Yep watch the MCM episode as mentioned ^
Also, did you use several light coats of paint or just one/two big coats? Best to do it on a hot/non humid day if possible, too.

Did you strip the original base first/sand it properly?
I fix cars.

Haha hold on are we talking about the same rims? The rims I got with the car are the standed alloys!!! There foul!
