If you like them, then just do what Taz suggested and get some flares made up for the guards.

Will look similiar to this.

TohmeZ wrote:yeah not annoyed about the speeding that's fine but like you said all the little things are bullshit, tyres poking out wont do as much damage as a bull bar, no h pattern on my gear stick "it's my f**king car i know where the gears are :facepalm2: "
the officer said i don't know much about these and starts throwing questions hahah ;)
Just get an H-pattern sticker that suits your vehicle and stick it just behind the gear-stick. Pretty sure that's what stock S15 sylvia's have, and it's perfectly legal. As long as you say "that's how the car came" then there's not much a cop can do if they don't actually know the car. ;)

As for tyres poking out, it can do quite a bit if someone is dumb enough to step too close to your car. I've seen them hanging WAY out on 4by's and people have gotten some pretty decent cuts/bruises/grazes because of them. Unfortunately we have to cater for the lowest common denominator nowadays, and that's only getting lower... Any chance you can get the same rims with a slightly more positive offset?
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

i asked about the h pattern sticker and the officer said that would be enough, sounds like bullshit to me, and i'd probably just get a hole different set of rims in 17's still with poke, i just got my exhaust done yesterday and wondering if its sticking out like 5cm from the rear guard is that illegal?

If your not going to get your guards flared and are bent on selling them ill take first dibs and give you cash straight up I could use them indefinitely for the track car, they would look mint!

And yea exhaust is illegal, has to confine to the rear bar. Just cut a few mm of the tip to bring it flush.

FIRST DIBS

Just for those who might miss it in the last post haha. If i get these then the track car has its rims under budget to move it along quicker and sahin can get his rims back off the car when I put em on and you get cash for new wheels. you've changed my mind, yes please sell them

If you're really going for serious track work... Rotas are nt what you would be wanting? For one - it might not be the optimum size rim - for speed or whatever it is you want, and two wouldn't you be wanting light weight wheels? Rotas Arnt the lightest rims around ...

'hellaflush' getting people into too much trouble haha

Just try roll/flare your guards.. Otherwise you're wasting what 800?

I need wheels now Phi, and i dont have money for lightweights right now.
They are the right size as i will need a minimum 18 inch for the brakes i will be running. They will do the job very nicely until i can buy some decent lightweights, then ill resell em into the club.
Putting aside 1k cash now just in case

Oh and interest or not, i got 'first dibs'
That and i got plenty o blow to pay with..
