Hey Everyone,
Im Kraig been reading on the forum for a while and thought it was time to say hi
I have a mitsubishi mirage and have purchased a 6a12 mivec half cut that came with climate control and I'm very close to finally doing the conversion
mostly I'm excited for the extra power and the climate control,i have already had a 2.5inch exhaust made and i also scored headers for a good
price to,I've change all the plugs, got new belts, checked the water pump, timing belt etc and gave the motor a general cleanup.
Now to find some time to fit it all.......
hope nobody minds but there will probably be a whole heap of questions to
big thanks to Dwayne and Ben who already have been helping me out,
Cheers Kraig

WTTC Kraig .
It's great to see new members having a go at engine work and changeovers.
Post up pics when you can and keep us all updated with how it's going.

Welcome to the forum!
It's great to see more and more cars receiving the MIVEC treatment!
Hopefully we can answer any questions you may have about the motors or the cars

Re: Newie from the West
Thanks for the welcomes,
as you all would know trying to find time and the extra money to do these conversions
always slows things down.
but on the bright side I'm nearly ready to do the conversion just lining the last few things up
and we should be sweet.
Thanks all of you to, with the info on here I've been able to get a 65mm TB,port matched and cleaned up IM, new exhaust made
and I've been given the base maps for my haltech interceptor as well. So I'm hoping to put a BIG smile on
my face with the bolt on mods and tune.
