stopping by to check progress of all your cars, figured id post a picture of my new look starlet.

She needs a little TLC, but definitely has a bit more get up and go than the other starlet.

I would like to go for a spin in the Starlet actually ... I was thinking of getting one ages ago ... But that was when I decided to put the Evo engine into the Sonata..

So you have pretty much gone from a stock 97, to what .. A 99 GT ...?

Much difference in the interior and feel of the 2 cars... Or does the GT feel and handle the same, just with more power..?

After selling the FTO I had a stock 97 starlet for one year and This one is a 92 starlet GT which are imports.

stock vs. stock the two cars are like night and day. the GT was intended to be a 'sports' car i guess you could say which makes a big difference.

In this car now i have got coil overs, better brakes, 11psi boost, straight through exhaust, short shifter, intake and a few braces here and there.

I prefer to describe this car as 'Fun' not 'fast'

Ahh .. I thought the GT's were after our Aussie delivered model ... But yeah, I was full on in to the little hot hatches.. Mazda Familia, Starlet GT, and the Pulsar GTI-R ... All were good bang for buck little cars... Pulsar being the better, but also a lot more expensive at the time..

Love the Stanwell Tops shot BTW...
