Ahh k, just this line kind of threw me given you had 'dual' but had 3 people listed.

Long story short, it's a dual-ownership thing with my dad for my brother and I.

I was not keen to spend as much as we did. I've grown to like it, handles well and pretty zippy for a 1.8, but I do regret not being as...what's the word. Whatever it is, speaking my mind or whatnot. I prefer to avoid conflict if I can help it. So partly my fault for not just saying 'no'. But he wasn't going at an FTO, so I kinda gave up.

Rather. Does still have a 3 year warranty of questionable value (as you need to have it serviced there), but who knows, something might go catastrophically wrong.

meanwhile, Mx6 has a nice ride. Not quite as bouncy as the Protege, but much more grounded around the corners. The V6 also sounds superb, small taste of what you MIVEC guys get to appreciate. On a similar note, passenger space in the back is minimal, and low sloping roof means that I can easily rest my head up against the back window (and I'm on the short side of average). But I don't ferry people all that often anyway.

Ever thought of a 30X Eunos?

They're pretty funky things.
1.8 V6, decent amount of balls, similar to an FTO bar the ponies.

Something rather different over the tired MX6.

I saw one in my searches, actually. They look alright, a lot like the BA Astina's. But I don't think it's quite as snazzy as the Mx6. But what I like about the Mx6 too is that even though there's not tons of space, I can still fold the back seats down so I should be able to fit a keyboard I want to buy in there.

Hoping to get it something like this, despoilered.

Well, good luck with it, like any car, make sure you thoroughly go over it.

Check out the MX6 forum for things to look out for etc.

Cheers. Getting the RAA to go down wednesday, as due to above stated, I'm not car savvy. I can measure cleanliness, but not much else. I don't expect any big issues, but better safe than sorry.
