need to get the plastic console cover that goes over the gear stick and up to under the climate controle. as nothing as their and looks like it has
been chopped out :S f**k know why lol.
front bar and rear bar arent fit on properly and are in sh*tty condition.
roof rust bubbles.
also over every bump the "door open" light flashes
driver side seats look like a dog has eaten it lol

Hi and welcome to the club.
It sounds like you have your work cut out for you but hopefully the end result is good.
You did not mention the color, engine or transmission in the car?

There are some people wrecking FTOs here. The user dstocks has pretty much everything you can ever need

WTTC!

The stereo surround that goes around the gear stick cracking or breaking is a common problem, "dstocks" (Our parts man and Vice President) can get them Brand New from Japan, so send him a PM. He should also be able to help you out with any other parts you need.

Roof rust is also common but unfortunately not as easy to fix.

The light coming on when going over bumps would be one of the ground switches is faulty or the door is not pushing it in all the way.

hey mate,
WTTC. Nice price, and lucky for you the problems that that thing has are all common.
mivecbaby wrote:front strut towers/shocks on both sides needs to be replaced ASAP!
New aren't expensive,
KYB excel G are great. Details in the aftermarket replacement part thread.

It's looking like you will actually be needing two parts. The stereo surround (the one you linked to before) and the stereo console (which sits in that). Our parts man Dstocks can get both new, but they aren't cheap.

roof rust bubbles.
Common, but expensive. Sorry mate,
Rust caused by a crappy glue under the roof.

Probably just needs to be adjusted at the door latch. Easy.
I've found my optimal door latch points are actually different to the original markings.

They probably replaced the boot with a different one and didnt bother changing the locks over onto the new one and now the key doesn't match the lock...

You can, but the Lancer shocks are longer and the spring rate is softer. Also springs do not fit from FTO to Lancer struts, and the Lancer struts do not have tabs for the swaybar.
So basically they will physically fit but are a bad idea to use.
