Back to my roots :)
Had stopped playing drums back in 2006..and thought of going back to it every single day since then. Finally gave in and picked this up yesterday.

Good to see another drummer on here.
How long had you been drumming before you stopped?
Here's a photo of my kit.

Re: Back to my roots :)
Yay!! another fellow drummer!!
That's a nice setup Are those EC2 heads? Which kit is it?
Had been playing for 8 years, had done some gigs/workshops before, but am all rusty now. I was self taught so don't know how to read notes, and been stuck with a bad habit of using flat foot technique Think I should hook up with a school and get some lessons on reading charts and practice playing heel-up.

Re: Back to my roots :)
I love Tama's hardware, have a Tama Iron Cobra Powerglide double bass pedal. I am thinking of picking up the EMADs for my bass drum as well, they are quite cheap at Billy Hyde now with their close out sale. How long have you been playing for?
