Welcome to the f**king old FTO Australia forums!!

That's a bullshit fine.Giving way to pedestrians when turning at
an intersection
When turning into a road at an intersection, a driver must give way to any pedestrian who may be crossing the particular road the driver is entering. The image below illustrates this.
Penalty: 3 demerit points (4 in a school zone) and $298 ($397 in a school zone)
Pedestrians really need to take more responsibility for their actions. I assume the logic behind it is that someone in a car has money to burn while a pedestrian often does not. Probably not, but that's what I'm going with as my main "f**k the RTA" point for this one.Astron_Boy wrote:That's a bullshit fine.Giving way to pedestrians when turning at

I give way to cars, as how often do you get to an interesection, with 1 gap only, none for miles, and there's some punce slow ass or prat walking to the corner.
Where's this money going?

Astron_Boy wrote:Well, not long ago had some prat break the law of giving way to pedestrians.
Half way across the road with the wife 2 feet behind me, this Grey commonwhore cuts the corner drops the anchors right on top of of her and blasts the horn.
Suffice to say my response was in defense of my wife.
I bet he wishes he hadn't broken the law now.

Was only stirring mate. As long as nobody got run overAstron_Boy wrote:Difference between a car already being at an intersection and a person being half way across the road meanwhile.
Running over someone is an offense no matter what.
That was awfully forgiving of you, considering it was a commodore driverAstron_Boy wrote:Yeah I know.
I saved him from getting 3 demerit points, so he should be happy.
