F*ck me dead, how did this thread full of expensive & pain in the ass ideas get so long?

Its call fabric spray paint!

Available in all good auto shops. I've used it to do whole seats in the past, its a piece of piss to use!

Ben, do you have any pics of how the seats turned out? I don't exactly want to f**k up my only set of seats and have to live with it every day

Just dyed a spare headliner I had.

Turned out pretty good, will take some photos after it's dried and in the car.

Did you dye it with a nikko pen?

Sure did, took me 3 days.

Nah, used VHT Vinyl Dye.

Looks pretty cool, did you find much rust under there?

I took the headliner out a while ago and removed all the glue + rust.

That's why you need to start a showcase so we can keep up ;)

How many cans did you need as I'm planning on doing the same at some point after I've cut out and welded in new sections in the roof. :)

Simple to do? Just spray on as you would when doing any other type of panel?

I found this stuff on the bay:

Yep. Very simple. Keep applying light coats until you get a full coverage.

And yes, that's the same stuff I used.

Brilliant. I'll buy it. :)

I've become quite accustomed to a black roof... I've not had any interior lining anywhere in the car since January! Putting the roof lining back in again in its stock state doesn't fill me with joy!
