You need to have it 75% covered I think. Just take the top part of the box out, leave the bottom part as it is and take it for a spin. Then let the mivec kick in. :)

in QLD there has to be something between the pod and bonnet (i.e. above the pod) which i guess makes more sense than having it enclosed on the bottom...
you sure this isnt the case in NSW as well?

I believe the NSW law is as shadowarrior stated, it needs to be at least 75% enclosed.

I have the UAS box which is about 75% enclosed and when I got pulled over the copper said "You're lucky that's boxed in"

Usually $110 and 1 point for driving a defective vehicle and they can give you a defect notice to get it fixed

That huge 4.5 inch tail end is annoying me...maybe that's the cause of the exhaust note not sounding good? Does it sound too loud and throaty? Make a quick vid of how it sounds like :)

Not sure if it's my sub, but it has a nice deep rumble at low rpm imo. I think it looses all notes at high rpm though.

Here's mine :)

nice what are the specs? is it a 3" pipe? and how many hotdogs in it? sounds way better and your right, mine has a note at one stage then it just disapears.. i have noticed better acceleration but expected more for the price :x
