Have never heard anything about this officer anywhere, but it seems over the past few days when a guy got a defect for running 'fog lights' during the daytime (when infact they were DRL(daytime running lights) that cannot be turned off) it all blew up and apparently Pettett is well known for his harassment of modified or imported cars.
Out of sheer curiosity, has anyone here ever met/been fined by this 'upstanding victorian police officer'?
Any amusing stories to share? Want to see if any of this holds true, and if so - will anything be done about it?
THe guys a complete dick. I live over the other side of the city and I've heard stories for years. God help us if he gets transferred over to the westside.
Apparently a few people have been pulled over in their stock Toyota 86 with him trying to give defects. Are other countries this retarded when it comes to giving defects for cars?
Blah blah it's a disgrace what people were saying about him. A typical 1 sided news report not mentioning the things that the officer has done to people, instead just saying what things the page has on it.
And then some old police officer starts blaming Facebook itself for the page, and how Facebook "should have never let it happened". I don't think he knows how the Internet works...
