84 Hilux Xtra Cab - SOLD!
Hi all,
Wife has advised the fleet has to be culled.. So need to find my baby a new home.
Make:1984 Toyota Hilux Xtra Cab
K's: TBA
Rego: 1st April 2013
Auto
Engine:
Engine conversion to 2.2l 4Y engine. Block was bought brand new from supplier in Japan, and fitted by previous owner. This was done about 18mnts ago. Has not been a problem at all. No oil leaks, and 1 clean looking block. Has also had the upgrade to power steering. Has electronic start with twin carby. Cold starts are not fist go, but she gets there when accelerator pumped a little.
Recent replacements:
Radiator - Brand new
Brake master and lines to front brakes
Voltage regulator
Battery is maybe a month or so old
Windows tinted at 20%. All glass taken out and windows tinted off the car. While this was done, a thorough check for rust was performed. Back window nothing - Side Xtra cab on passenger side has a tiny bit. Nothing noticeable on the other side.
Exhaust:
Has sports exhaust twin tip fitted. Also has after market extractors which were replaced when twin carby was put on.
Interior:
Pretty rough. Dodgy brown dash and door trims. With blue 3 seater bench seat. Could use a fresh up, but was comfortable so I didn't change it.
ICE:
Some random Sony head unit with front speakers. Nothing special but works.
Car is what it is. I was using it as a ride to park at a train station or shopping centre to not worry about. Used a couple of times to take stuff to the tip, move houses, and general furniture shopping. If it doesn't go, then I am happy and get to keep it....
Failing that, it has a price of 2K ... Nothing less as it has no issues and is a great ride. Has a little bit of rust in the tray, but not too bad compared to others. It also has LPG lines still in place if someone wanted to re-convert it.
Paint is rough. It was an off white colour, that was sprayed the blue it is now. Like I said it was run about, so it didn't bother me. Shocks are great, and it is a smooth comfortable ride. Exhaust gives it a nice note as well ...
Has T-bar and Tranny Cooler as well. I have not used it to tow, and unsure if previous owner did. Has limited rust as it was a country car. You can still see all the dust behind the dash on it.
Here are some pics of her...
