Soldering Kit

Does anyone have a soldering kit that I could borrow for like 20 minutes around the eastern suburbs area?

Need to solder my speaker wires :D

Just double checking, you do know that a soldering iron & solder can be obtained from Bunnings for less than 20 bucks yeah? A worthy addition to any n00bs toolkit!

We have one at home from when pop used to have to fix up his horse and cart but the blowtorch wouldnt heat up the iron properly :lol: :troll:

Didnt know they were as little as $20, might have a trundle down to bunnings this afternoon in that case! :cheers:

The most important thing to remember when soldering is keep your tip clean. Wipe it on a wet sponge each time you pick it up to solder something.

Yeah I learnt that in DT. Ive done a bit of soldering here and there so yeah ;)
