Okay so here is everything about the car.
KMS 230,000
just had the transmission replaced, serviced 3 weeks ago.
- radiator hoses replaced top and bottom,
- radiator cleaned out.
- oil change.
(all the regualr servicing)
Front bumper has cracks in it will need fixing.
Great sound system. (if you want more info just ask)
Never been in a crash.
One brand new tyre 3 days ago.
(If it's parts people want feel free to ask) First in gets the part.
Just bought a new car so my little baby has to go..

If it is Melbourne Rego as soon as you hit NSW you have to blue slip and rego again.. Plus as it is an import you need the import papers.. otherwise if you get "randomly selected" you have to pass an extra RTA inspection...

Ah.. I was mainly asking to see if It can be driven home or not. I wasnt aware that it needed a blue slip and import papers though

Does it have any rego left? Does it come with road worthy certificate? Is it a manual? Pics would be really good

You could get an unregistered permit.. Gets it home for you. Or if the seller let's you dispose or lodge the papers when you get back.. That is the best..

As per the RTA when I asked.. No. Has to be done as soon as it hits NSW. And a Greenslip has to be issued as a car with no numberplates

yep i have done this when i bought a car from melb when the car hits nsw you have 14 days to get a blue slip green slip and rego even if it still has vic rego it does not count and if you are caught driving it around after 14 days the fine is the same as driving an unrego car and no green slip insurance about 1k in fines
