well the GR has 22kw less power but weighs the same as the GPX... do the math and theoretically they are slower maybe by about 1 sec or so for the 0-100... frankly, i'd rather spend the extra $3K or so for a GPX model instead. It's not easy getting the extra 22kw and 1500rpm more with $3K on the GR. Besides most GPX models are better equipped than some GR and most people buy the FTO purely for its MIVEC engine in most cases!

heheh i do, but i have to say the gpxs have much better reselling value, when i was going to sell my car now one would look at a gr model, even giving its potential. there are also a lot morem odels then just the gr and gpx which a lot of people dont realise, like gr sports package, gx, gp, etc, gp-r but people seem to assume that a non mivec is a gr and a mivec is a gpx.
Oh and one more thing i tihnk mycar and the other gr are just freaks, cause i haveseen lots of other grs that dont come close.....

not really, causei usually have poor starts (due to crap tyres) and when the cars are moving both people have their foots flat the the floor, neither of them can do anything different, and my car just seems to pull away. and i have raced nearly every person who has gone ona cruise in nsw
