On the list of things to fix when I can be bothered:
    - sand down the stuff on the wheels (is that recommended?)
    - repaint small areas on the bumper.
    - spray window wipers.

Yea you can sand down the wheel - might as well fix the gutter rash (is it just plain filler you use or is it special stuff) if any and give em a fresh coat of paint while you're there - will look brand new afterwards :)

Id be careful with the wheels. You cant really sand them as its a grainy surface (sanding would wreck them). You could get them sand blasted but that would cost. Rather, get some decent grease remover/degreaser and give them a hit to get rid of the bitumen etc. A bit of car polish/cutting compound would probably do them wonders as well. From memory, there wasnt much gutter rash on them, but you could give the outside rim a sand and fill. You are looking at a lot of work to sand the whole wheel though. And most people run out of patience before theyve done all 4. You need Aza's patience for that job.

Yeah, the actual rims are in good nick, just the black stuff there. From a distance they don't look too bad now that I've cleaned the dirt off them. Might look into some degreaser then, will likely come in handy on other occasions I imagine as well.

Can I purchase Aza's Patience at my local auto store? It sounds really useful.

It's mostly just me being pedantic. And the stuff is on the inner edges of the rim, so you can't really see it until you're standing a metre or so away.

Well, there's Tim, You, Jack, Me, the guy whose user name starts with 'O'. So yes. Oh, and there was once that older woman who got offended when someone said something about her living in Elizabeth.

She's not around anymore I think.

Once I sort out these overheating issues I'd be good for a proper cruise. We could roll about the city and take pictures but not much else, haha.

I had them wider, but it looked a tad too ridiculous.

Drawing flares with just linework is really hard!

Washed and polished it and took it for a drive through the hills now that it's got a new radiator in it. Am learning about which gears are best for what, 2nd certainly has the juice. Noticed it didn't engage MIVEC the whole drive though. :? I think it might be a bit temperamental, as it was working fine the other day.

Oil levels seem to be fine. It had a service less than a month ago. Will have to test again tomorrow.

Aaand oil is down. Must've still been warm when I looked at it last night. Is a little above the 3/4 mark. Looks like I'll be making a run to supercheap on Monday.

How do I know how much oil to put in? And on noob-assumption I'm guessing I put it in through the oil cap thing on the engine?
