EOI: Another wreck

Post by Taz »

So im about to purchase another wreck next week, and apart from the roof rust and peeled paint job, its in pretty good nick.
Just thought id chuck up an EOI if anybody wants to call dibs on anything - would also give me a good indication on parts and how much ill make quickly too.
No rear bar, tail lights, stereo surround or cluster - its pretty much all there apart from that. Prefacelift auto (hes checking what model tomorrow morning - fingers crossed for a GPX)
Tis black in color - all panels are straight, front bar in good nick, doors and fenders straight, boot has a gpx spoiler on it, only the boot and rear quarters have bad paint, doors and front end look fine. Tis for parts - wasnt in an accident.
Engine has 285 on it but is in good nick ive been told - turns over and runs fine. The main reason for this thread is to see if anyone wants a reconditioned engine - thinking about doing it to get some coin for it. Not sure on price, will be parts+costs for things i cant do in house+500 labour and cost of engine itself for me. Thinking around the 1700 mark. Again, fingers crossed its a mivec otherwise it might be a good idea for anyone thinking of going turbo etc.
All air con stuff is already reserved for sahin, headlights for me, everything else is up for grabs - first in first serve

Yep sounds good.. I really only need the rails but always good to have a spare.. Hopefully I will get to look at mine today. It works, but closing is a bit of an issue.. Not sure what is going on with it..

Sahin will most likely have first dibs on a few things but rockit has the sunroof and you can get the brakes :)
