Question about engine and brakes NSW

Post by renzkuken1 »

I have put another engine into my gpx fto. It is the same type as the previous one just a different engine number. How do i go about getting it updated with RTA?
I'm asking because i am interested in selling it and buyer wants that done before i sell it.

Also does anyone have a set of break pads for the front of the Gpx i could buy?

Thanks everyone. :)

You need to get it checked by a blue slip place, they only look for the engine number. They then fill out the forms and you take that to the RMS and they update their system. Job done.

The RMS (RTA) will have a list of places you can take it to on heir web site that are around your area.

You will need to take proof of purchase of the engine to the blue slip guy as well.

As for pads, just go to any brake shop. Repco should have them as well.. be much quicker than waiting on the forums..
I just had to add it ......

I have the rotors that came off my GPR when i swapped them out for my new ones. Have pads too that have plenty of meat, id say 80% +. They were my spare set. Don't have rears though. :)
$20 and their all yours
