Thats one of the components yes.

Please do not misunderstand, they are a good car. Just nothing like an FTO with more power

Maybe a GTO then? AWD Twin Turbo and light sports coupe... I guess that may be the closest thing to an FTO right?

you cant really put a 6a13 in an fto and have it FWD off the factory floor, and when you do RWD etc you just go down the same road as the GTO.
Just one of those things you have to do custom yourself if your that nuts you need it  8)

also my insurance is 1000euro on 1.3 colt and not insurable as 2litre mivec i.e jap engine too risky etc is all i get off the companies or a qoute of about 4000euro a lot a lot of money

i have no choice but to lie
That does sound pretty bad. On top of that you guys have some unbelievably expensive petrol there too?

If you're lying about your cars engine to your insurance company, what will happen if you need to make a claim? Will they not realize something is a bit off and void it?

Yes petrol is crazy expensive it is not a country for modified cars but there is still a strong enough JDM scene here but everyones car be locked up until weekend or drag days etc no one drives there jap cars as dailys anymore

yes i will be screwed if i crash but my opions are drive it as 1.3 or stare at it in my driveway forever , you only live once tax insuracne and petrol so dear here time to get something back off them is the way i see it

Is it illegal to drive it with no insurance?

I think though in contrast the purchase price of the car is much less than in Australia so things somehow balance out from one perspective.

    Did you ever consider

    wait for it

    A different brand car?

Pretty sure there will be a few more late 90s sports cars with that 'awesome road feeling' (That I too love in the FTO) that already have turbo variants, RWD, AWD etc.
