1995 FTO GPX 175,000km - best offer [ACT]

Post by ritici »

Hey guys. I need to get rid of my FTO. I've had it sitting in the shed for a few months now. I was planning on fixing it up eventually but I've now got a new car, so I need the room in the shed for it...

A bit about the car:
  • 1995
    Mitsubishi FTO GPX
    175,000km
    Black
    Semi-Automatic
The problems:
  • Stereo surround has cracked on the passenger side and as a result, is missing a small section
Some scratches around the place on the outside
Small tear on the drivers seat and the floor on drivers side
The reason it has been out of action is because it was overheating on me. I took it to the mechanic and they came up with a few other problems too. Here is what they came up with:
  • Rocker cover gasket leak, possibly from front seal's
    Water pump leaking
    Drivers belt cracked
    Leaking sump, plug stripped
I got a new battery and new tyres for it a few weeks before it broke down. The tyres look brand new and would basically have 100% tread.

Would be good to put a bit of work in to, or for parts.

Definitely can't hold on to it, so I will basically take the best offer I get for it.

Vehicle is located in Canberra. Feel free to PM me any questions, or ring me on 0410 210 720. If I don't answer then just leave me a message or send me a text and I'll get back to you.

Hey Taz,
I definitely need to sell my car in full (not in parts), so you can take it for $1,000. PM me and we can work out when you want to see it etc :-)

Everyone knows black is better though.

And isn't Daniels a GR. So he would have to do a GR Mivec conversion, which always is a bit more pain than what it is worth.

IMO Fix leaks, replace waterpump and car is back to working order.
I just had to add it ......

One of them is. The one that I'm selling is a Silver GPX.

I do have a black GR sport shell that I'm doing a Mivec conversion to as well.
I fix cars.

matt, i dont think "too proud has anything to do with it" maybe its just convenient that he has a greatworking engine and is buying an fto with a broken engine

just curious as to what has taz keen to get the car when its so far away
