ok, will enquire.rock_it wrote:What size/price for the rims... Are the tyres any good...

EDIT: Good Year, Eagle F1, 235/45 r17
Wheels are stated 17, so i'd say 'x7'
Will enquire on tyre condition and if any gutter scrapes.
EDIT: I see some factory HID headlights! (Scratch that, only passenger side, car is totaled in the front end, explains the dented bonnet.)

I would be interested in a reasonably priced black Gpvr wing

This FTO could have been the one at the bonfire with the bent/twisted rear end, he got his one from a wreckers.
or
The one that the "L" plater was driving, had the same sticker on the rear end in the same spot.

A bit of 'reply' searching reveals which car.
And according to the forum Taz, I edited before you posted!
I tried to multi-task posting this thread and doing work.
Realised I was the wrong gender, and so failed.

Hmmm....odd.....when I called in this morning, he still had the wing for sale (at an absurd price).

Re: EOI: Parts from a car being wrecked. EDIT: Car's gone
He told me he has 'A' wing.shadowarrior wrote:Hmmm....odd.....when I called in this morning, he still had the wing for sale (at an absurd price).
Along with 'A' steering wheel.
And 'some' alloy wheels.
All of which after more digging revealed to be the factory wear.
Guy in the background knew more than the guy on the phone.
He still has the gearbox along with shafts and all. (so he reckons)
I believe however they are in a pile, and he'd supply me the wrong one, so, I'm not interested after all that.

Just rung up to see if he still had the VR spoiler, Apparently he sold it for $400 and tried to sell me a GPX one instead

Re: EOI: Parts from a car being wrecked. EDIT: Car's gone
He said he had 2 black ones, one of which sold for 400 dollars, and when asked about the one in the pic he wasnt sure and finally coughed up that it was. I hope that it was, because if someone paid 400 for a gpx wing...

Yeah, the phone monkeys seem to know very little.
If all the car was there and assembled, no problem.
In bits and pieces, I wouldn't trust them to supply me a good used coke can.
No straight clear answers.
