Do you need to wait for awhile for the gasket to settle before adding new oil in?
Can you drive the car immediately after the oil pan fix?
Any trick to do a good seal? The last time I have done did not last very long.

Follow the instructions for the sealant you are using.
Personally, I'd be waiting 24 hours before adding oil or driving.
