front and rear wind screens

Post by BorepYano »

Decided that I'm going to turf the wreck, just seeing if anyone's interested in the wind screens

front wind screen is free, come take it off the car
rear wind screen is the one with the rear wiper hole, I also have the rear wiper assembly (and maybe the combo switch to go with it). need to be taken off the car, make an offer if anyone's interested.

car's getting taken away to scrap metal haven as soon as I can be bothered to organise it. or if anyone wants a completely stripped shell with roof rust, feel free to come and steal it lol

Just a word of caution however - not all windscreens come off without cracking and you might end up stuck paying someone money to remove a broken windscreen you cannot use.
Id say they would be a bit brittle, probably being stock and just sitting on the wreck for so long.

If a windscreen is broken why would you pay someone to remove it?
I fix cars.

?
Bit slow there Daniel
They can break when trying to remove them, and they still charge you for it, as they warn you about it and say youll be stuck with a bill regardless.
I looked into pinching the windscreen off maverick for my GPR, but for an extra $150 i got a brand new one installed without the risk (and maverick still has a windscreen)
imo its not worth the risk but meh, you never know

Is there anything else interesting left in the car? The angel eyed head lights?

I'm not selling the red one, I'm still paying around with the red one. I've stripped everything out of this shell already, and I'm not sure exactly what I'll need out of the parts stripped out yet.

I have the rear wiper assembly and motor, but I'm not sure what condition it's in. I'm not sure about the combo switch. I'll check next time I'm around at my folks.
