I've never had a bolt I couldn't undo... And never have I used a breaker bar lol

Sahin, I have a challenge for you ;)

Find yourself a 1JZGTE engine, factory original with say 100K km on it, that has never had the front crank pulley removed.

If you can remove that front crank pulley bolt in under 5mins I'll be impressed. Hell if you can remove it in under half a day you'll be doing well :lol:

I removed the harmonic balancer bolt on the FTO with a socket set lol
I dunno how much more a 1jz bolt is torqued up but it can't be too much harder lol it was a *~delightful!~* job to do with a socket set though lol f**king loctite!

The FTO is easy, comes straight off, 1JZ is from memory 280ft-lb and fully loctited, the entire f**king bolt :evil: :lol:

Well the bolts weren't exactly tight to my satisfaction... You know when they go in a little TOO easily?

'tis all good though, installed some new pads while I was at it. 8)

About the same as a mini primary shaft gearbox nut. Locktite AND the steel washer folded over it :lol:

I had to put the gearbox under a car hoist (with car on it) and lower it onto the box to hold it in place, so I could hang off a 3 metre breaker bar with my 135kg dad :lol: We got it eventually, f**k did it make a noise! :lol:
