[QLD] Rear diffuser and gauge pod to suit FTO
Up for grabs is a rear diffuser and gauge pod (for the A pillar)
Was originally purchasing this off CHRI5 for Maverick, but since have learned it bolts to the wheel well under the car, and in my case a diff will be there instead
Items are located in Ipswitch, QLD
Asking price 100ono for both.
Note that the wood has been removed, and looks much sexier in person

Dat guage pod. Stop tempting me! I need to pour all my money into the engine
Does it sit along the top of the clock/voltmeter?

Stupid question but does the diffuser actually make a noticeable difference with anything or is it just cosmetic? Does it stick out at all?

Re: [QLD] Rear diffuser and gauge pod to suit FTO
Considering how they work, id say it is just for show on an FTO.
How they work is (if coupled with supporting mods like a ducted underbody and very low ride height) they get the air out from under the car more efficiently and create a low pressure area behind the car, essentially creating more downforce, but for a street fto - just for show (although it looks pretty fkn good imo, shame i cant use it on maverick )
Im not sure if it will stick out at all, but my assumptions is it will line up with the rear bar and not protrude any farther that the bumper.

Yeah kinda figured. Not to be "that guy" but if this is still around in a few weeks/months after my build, if i've got some cash i'll grab it.
Until then, continue, sir.

with the diffuser you need to keep in mind the different height levels with aftermarket rear bars and aprons.
Taz, have you seen what it looks like fitted? might sus it out at the BBQ if it's still around.

So ive been told the diffuser was designed for an 02 WRX, so it SHOULD have no problems clearing a rear diff - so im going to be taking this myself.
Also means the pod gauge will be sold seperately - make an offer!
