Mitsubishi ASA prices

Post by Bennoz »

Hey guys,

Thought you might find this useful. I've got a price file that can imported in ASA for those that have it installed.

Price file can be found here:
http://ftoaustralia.com/downloads/ASA_prices.zip

Instructions: (it is assumed ASA is already installed)

1. Click File, then Setup.
2. Click the tab "Common 2".
3. Set "Price Data Reference" to "External Price Data".
4. Click OK (ASA will reset)
5. Click Data, then "External Price Update"
6. Browse for the file you want to use and select the currency required and press ok.

At this point it will load the file and reset ASA. You now have prices. If you ever want to switch between "Low Prices", "MSRP", or "Mitsubishi Prices", just follow steps 5-6 and select the other file.

For those that haven't got ASA & would like to use it, it's located here:
http://ftoaustralia.com/downloads/MMC_ASA_JAP_A.rar
http://ftoaustralia.com/downloads/MMC_ASA_JAP_B.rar

The instructions for ASA are in the first rar file.

Forgive my noobishness, but...

What exactly is this "ASA Prices" and what does it do?
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

ASA is the Mitsubishi After Sales Support program. Used by all Mitsubishi dealers, it has a complete database of all parts, pics & prices (and availability if you're on the Mitsi network.) I quite often use it to cross reference parts to other makes & models, plus it's also good for providing exploded parts diagrams etc.

It used to be called CAPS (Computer Assisted Parts Search) or similar.

Dwayne has a version of it running on Complete FTO as well.

Silly question, what currency is this in? And does it ignore import pricing lol!

Very handy additional reference regardless :)

You get to choose the currency when you put it in.

Good question! Not sure! Let me lookup something I know will have import markup...

I have just downloaded and installed ASA.
I have followed the install instructions including...
15. From within the crack folder on the root of the CD, copy mmData.dll to the programs install location ie E:\MMC\ASA\M00\PROG directory & overwrite the existing file.
16. Also from within the CD's crack directory, execute the MMC.REG registry file & allow it to make a change in the registry. It inserts the product key.

...and the program won't start up
I keep getting... "Key Expired" "This software requires registration !" "Enter Key"

Any ideas?

I had the same problem when installing it. It is because ASA is a 32 bit program and if you are running 64bit you need to change the registry key that is being entered.

PM me with your email and I can send you the proper registry key.
