FromThe 294mm setup from the legnum/galant VR4 (6A13TT) 'Pre-facelifts' are a direct bolt on to the FTO hub. No mods required. Also interestingly, the inner caliper is the same as the standard FTO one and uses the same brake pads. Which worked out great for me because I retained my relatively new EBC Reds

Edit: Morel also posted in that thread.

That's from a series 1 VR4 yeah? They went to Brembos on the facelifted ones from memory.MOR31 wrote:Have a look for some galant/legnum vr4 brakes. 294mm. Have some on my coupe. Pulls up real hard

Yeah pre face lift. Face lift went to 160mm bolt space but only went brembos as an added option

Re: GPX/GPvR or bigger brakes
I'll look up the part number on ASA, see if there's any cross reference to other models. Only problem is that I only have the Jap data, not Aussie.
Then again, I could always take a wander down to Pick N Paymore & take measurements.

I have all the versions of ASA installed, so can do a bit more checking.Bennoz wrote:I'll look up the part number on ASA, see if there's any cross reference to other models. Only problem is that I only have the Jap data, not Aussie.

Re: GPX/GPvR or bigger brakes
The distance between mounting holes is 130mm isnt it? If so whats the possibility that these will fit?

Re: GPX/GPvR or bigger brakes
It's not just the bolt spacing, but the offset of the caliper, therefore affecting the rotor, and the 2 mating.
May fit, may not...
Unsure which Brembos lawso has.

Re: GPX/GPvR or bigger brakes
I'll take a photo tomorrow
but as far as i'm aware, i have brembos off an evo 5 that came off a black FTO dstocks bought, fixed and sold.
From what Dstocks has told me, I have an adaption plate or something which ends up making it a direct bold on, without having to do what bennoz has don (check his thread)

Re: GPX/GPvR or bigger brakes
Well, they're not going to be off an FTO.
So fact is, there is a high chance they won't be a bolt on, you most likely, like Lawso, would need an adaptor plate made.
Unless the seller knows, there's no visual way of telling which car those particular Brembos that you linked are off.
