one of the cables has snapped/come loose? Otherwise, I would have expected flashing error codes (could be wrong though)

What is the condition of the gearbox fluid?
Is it a cherry sweet smelling fluid?
Or is it dark and burnt?

Fingers crossed it's a faulty cable connection and not a 2k transmission rebuild as a mechanic once quoted me.

If that were the case then you'd do a manual conversion wouldn't you? Any excuse will do!

If anyone ever has an auto trans issue I always recommend a manual conversion, problem solved ;)

I'll post a video tomorrow. You cant hear the sound unless the bonnet is up and your leaning over the engine. It has never done this before or had any indication of going thats what is so frustrating cause my other fto transmition is screwing up as well  it wont go into gear has like a 2 second lag when u change and if your foot is on the pedal when u change revs up to like 6000 then changes just like if your cruiseing in a manul your foot is on the acelerator and u put your other foot on the clutch its revs go crazy same thing

That second one sounds like it could just use a transmission fluid change.

You wouldnt rebuild your transmission - too expensive. Ive got 3 tip boxes in the shed. $250 and one of them is yours (if you end up needing one)

"forward drive clutch" is more commonly know as a torque converter. And that certainly sounds like whats busted..
