Re: 95' GPX 92' Prelude

Post by JAMZO_wamZo »

Okay. So im going to ask this question in my car display post, maybe someone can answer it for me. How easy is the Swap to the factory MOMO Steering wheel. Mines just standard wheel on the gpx, non airbag etc.

Is it mostly just take old one off, put new one on?

cheers

Spot whats wrong in this pic :(
Image

Decided to dust off my camera today and play around with it, I decided to dress up the strut bar in the engine bay with MIVEC And GPX Stickers that were for the rear. but im having a hard time removing them so they went there instead  I got some close ups of my center console wrap and gear boot for those that are interested in the quality and look, other wise just enjoy the piccies. :)

*In the Center console close up, the Ash tray is no wrapped, where the console is.

Interior shots! Little update, started doing some simple highlights, and going to try and keep it simple. So far i did the little mirror control panel, and the two tweeter vents. And i will wrap the outer center console (Floor console?) edge silver. and that'll be it! i think

Now, the paint i used was made up in a spray can from AutoBarn, and its color matched to my FTO's factory paint code (A34). It's not exactly right, the tone is off slightly. but it will do. I originally bought it for some Eye Lids i bought, but figured out i dont want the Eye lids so i took em off.

I also fixed my Dimmer Control, who ever wired it up was probably little bit tipsy, but it now works and controls the lightout put of my dash lights.

I've sprayed %80 of my car with the "A34" from autobarn  and it never Ever mixes up the same as the last can. So yeah, just for future reference I suggest buying a bulk amount at once if you plan to paint anything else that is :)
Because nothing is faster than a p plater in a commodore.....
except maybe a p plater on a unicorn

Haha yeah, same with R82P for Honda's i've have 4 different cans with all different color finishes. I've gotta paint my spoiler and i think i might have to get it done professionally... unless i want 2 tone car/spoiler combo heehe

Take off your fuel door and take it to a proper automotive paint shop. They will get a pretty close match.

Thats a brilliant idea!, i've actually got two fuel doors as ones hinge broke, so i can use that! Thanks wouldn't of even though of that, I was going to take my original spoiler and take the new one off and let em paint it, but that's even better :D cheers
