I did some little cosmetic changes today.

Put a "100% Italian Leather" Gear boot on, replace the factory one, i sort of feel a little bit posh when i sit in and see it.

Image

I also installed my new clock i got from Taz awhile ago, i also removed the plastic covers from the two pods as mine look like they have mold in them but i think its just the plastic being weird :\ .

Image

Image

A week or so ago i installed my VS Wing, i bought it from Carmate and while waiting for it i cringed till it arrived and it fit pretty well, one little thing i dislike is the Keyhole doesnt exactly line up properly, and its a little heavy for the boot to hold itself up.

It's still unpainted. just waiting for some time.

Just waiting on my New Headlight, Fog light and Fuel door for something else to do!

I've got some Silvery-ish Vinyl coming from the UK should be here next week, going to decide what to do with it, something inside but not sure what yet, wont be anything major just a little highlighting.

Should get a new bottom half stereo surround from dstocks, given yours is cracked.
Can feel real posh then with your gear boot and perfect plastic!

Awesome :D nice to know a reliable parts vendor :)

So today! My stuff came thanks to Dstocks :D extra happy. So happy i got pics. sorry lol

    Image

and something else came too, its a great day when car parts / bits come in the mail. like a birthday/christmas.

Anyway its a Matte Black Vinyl film, going to see if i can restore some of my panels with it. i've got a close to my car's silver vinyl coming aswell to give the interior some small subtle highlights. see how subtle goes...

I'm done, you can all leave now. :(

    Okay.

I wrapped my center console in the vinyl and I'm pretty happy with it, despite a few edges being a pain and a wrinkle, i decided i wanted more of the stock look and it came out just like that. I wanted to see if i could glue the break in the console together then vinyl over it and it worked and I'm happy. in the future i may redo it see if i can get a better go at it.

I also installed my lovely new Headlight and Indicator/Foggy and fuel cap. The new headlight looks soo good and now very very tempted to get the other one as it does not look as "New" as the "new" one

If your ever wanting to do it, i suggest cleaning it properly, make sure you get in everywhere and anywhere. I cleaned mine quickly and forgot about some of the edges and corners, which you can see top left corner where the headunit is, wont stick properly due to having armor-all product on it.

And i didn't notice the 2 creases below the headunit till after i was done. First go though and 2-3 meters of it left over

    Haha, thanks.

They are a mob from eBay called top gaiters I've bought twice off them for my prelude and twice for the FTO both me and my mate have the same style they claim its genuine Italian leather and its not to expensive, they also do a suede materiel and they do coloured stitch. This ones just normal black on black.

Postage is good arrives in your post box pretty quickly.

    Here's the link

Oooh, yes I've seen them before, just never knew if they are any good.
It's good to see someone who's got them, and also good to see that they are decent quality!

    Cheers :)

yeah they are a good store! I dont know if i still got pics of the suede one, but their thicker than the stock one but fits in easily, just glues in. On my Honda the stock gear boot was Stapled in and i didn't re-staple it, so every so often it falls off lol.
