And here's another vid of that damn knock/tap noise, what could it be?
Sounds really bad and a few times when it got hot it starts to screech ?
In saying that, I did drive it for 3hours home...

I'm sure if you offered it for little enough he'd buy.

And then wonder what he's going to do with it.

I bought it because it was nearby and cheap..which is rare..
And it will save me a lot in the future on spare sparts for mine. But,
After driving it home I really liked the 5speed manual over my 4sp tip aaand I like the white.
So might put my engine in it :?: and keep it.
But probably just take bonnet, side skirts and a few other little things for my car then part out the rest.. Like I said
Still very undecided :/

Here's some more pics,

It looks better then my silver one :(

Just do a manual conversion on yours.

And WTF happened in the engine bay?
Blow a coolant hose?

I'm guessing it could be piston slap. Rare, but possible. I know it's an issue in some of the 06-07 V6 Triton's, as well as some of the earlier 4G63T's.

Basically, the piston is moving up and down on the gudgeon pin (the pin that connects the piston to the conrod). Would make sense, as it's in time with the engine rpm.

If you end up manual converting yours, I wouldn't mind the shell.
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

I'm not sure ill be able too, and I don't want to pay someone to do it :/
Do I have to change over the ecu when I do it? And cluster, and make room for a clutch.
