1994 Mitsubishi FTO GPX (Manual)

I purchased the car in March/April 2010. I am the second Australian owner.
It has 185xxx odd kms on it.

EDIT: Also has rego until May next year!

For the last 6-12 months it has only been driven once or twice a month so unfortunately it is time to for it to go. It has been much loved, (and stared at often). It is a real head turner, with a sweet engine note.
Has no issues hitting MIVEC, no roof rust and handles extremely well – saying this, it has mainly been driven around suburban areas, and hardly driven above 3-4k rpm.

Features:

Exterior:

- RARE, Genuine, HKS Kansai front bar.
- 17” Aftermarket mag wheels
- Falken FK452 tyres (excellent grip!)
- 8000k HIDs with slimline ballasts
- Smoked clear side indicators
- Custom numberplates (FA25LY - Far Too Sly)
- Sanded and polished headlights
- Vinyl tinted tail lights (easily removed if does not suit you)
- Windows all professionally tinted

Suspension/Steering/Brakes:
- New KYB Excel G Shocks
- New Lovell ‘Low’ Springs (sits at a really comfortable height, never had any issues with speed bumps)
- Reconditioned steering rack, replaced steering column and drop links
- RDA Slotted front rotors
- Front brake pads replaced 25,000kms ago, rears around 5,000kms ago.
NOTE: Front and Rear Strut braces currently installed are not included in the sale

Engine and Exhaust:
- Powerful 2.0L V6 MIVEC 6A12
- NGK Iridium spark plugs (front and back)
- 2.0mm Magnecor spark plug leads
- Replaced Fuel Filter
- Oil filter and oil changed regularly (about due for another one – so comes with a new oil filter), along with a recent coolant flush
- Full exhaust, including HPC coated RPW extractors and Y-pipe, 2.5” custom catback and aftermarket tips. Very nice exhaust note, it will make you smile.
- Blue EL Slam Panel
- Tappets recently adjusted, (no more Mitsubishi tappet noise)
NOTE: Intake pipe and filter currently installed are not included in the sale. Will be sold with stock air intake.

Interior:
- New Heater core (gets nice and warm)
- Aftermarket Sound System including:
o Rockford Fosgate Power 6x9s in the back run by a pioneer 4 channel Amp (very easy to add a subwoofer)
o Pioneer Head deck (with USB charge/play compatibility)
o Kenwood 6.5” 3way speakers in the doors
- All seats recovered with sporty silver/black leatherette covers (Makes the stock bucket seats even more comfortable!)
- Genuine aftermarket MOMO steering wheel
- Replaced floor centre console with new, genuine Mitsubishi part
- Plus all other standard features on the GPX, e.g. climate control, electric everything

Cons:
- Steering wheel is getting worn
- Climate control dial sometimes has a mind of its own
- Broken stereo surround (common with FTOs) – currently covered/held together with stickers.
- Driver’s seat leatherette has a small hole (doesn’t affect comfort)
- Some minor marks on the rear quarter panel
- Folding mirrors don’t work – easy DIY fix.

Location: Werrington, NSW 2747

I have receipts for most of the above listed.

Price : $6,100 ono.

Contact me here or PM me for my phone or email.

(please do not post in this thread regarding the price, or to criticize/divert the sale in any way - bumps and genuine questions are more than welcome.) :)

Thanks mate, it's a sad moment for me, but unfortunately it's hogging all the carport space at the moment and doesn't get driven anymore :(

Will be a good car for whoever buys it.

Considering the 'gun metal grey' I just sprayed looks like the colour it already is, it might be purple yet.

ALTHOUGH, they do have a lovely shade of lime available
