Tip Shifter
if anyone has a Tip shifter they dont want,
the plastic flaring that runs along with the shifter when you move it (the bit that covers up the holes)
-mine is brittle and falling apart, if someone has this spare they probably dont need the whole shifter - a lot easier than pulling it apart and replacing the plastic)
Cheers

Re: Tip Shifter
There are 3 parts to the shifter.
The leather exterior
the plastic button
The ring inbetween those 2 parts.
The ring is what Schumie is after.
You pop the button out with a flat blade on either side, then there is 2 or 3 small phillips screws holding the ring in.

Re: Tip Shifter
He is after the thin plastic bit that fits under the panel with the plus minus and D, N, etc. They commonly break. There is a chance I may have an unmolested one, but not sure.

Re: Tip Shifter
Ask AJ if he installed his... I'm next to positive I gave my spare to him.
Meanwhile, it wasn't perfect, but it's in 1 piece.
Having said that, you can buy them from Mitsubishi new.
Simply say you have a Magna sports with tip shift.
