Hello From UK soon to be NSW

Post by chrisstof1971 »

Hi Everyone,

I've joined here in readiness for my move over NSW as I've been offered a Job there.

I currently have an FTO here with a veilside Kit on it in the UK, and due to my migration I will have to sell it, but I'm hoping that I will be able to buy one in Oz to replace it.

Well hope to be speaking to you all soon,

Chris

Welcome to the club!

I think I'm the only member on here with a genuine appreciation for the Veilside kit... Screw the haters, you'll always have me if you decide to find another Veilside

As much as us South Aussies cop crap, I'm proud that we'll never have that history behind us for the rest of our state's existence :thebird:

Thanks for all the warm welcomes

Rock_It - Not sure where abouts yet the mrs is sorting that, I will be a project manager for a software company thats based in Perth and I'll be covering the east coast, I currently work for the company in the uk that supplies them the software they sell . Hoping to be over there before xmas Visa just going through now.

So what sort of price can I expect to pay for an FTO and what's sort of condition.

In the UK I picked mine up 1 lady owner for £600 about $900 give or take the exchange rate :)

You'll probably be looking at a bit more depending on the condition, but people have found some real good deals of late that required a bit of fixing.

Good luck with your search!

Youll be paying more for a car of the same quality im afraid. Blame the government - the decisions they have made reguarding propping up the local car industry tends to keep prices inflated. Im sure we can locate a good one for you.

Welcome to the club BTW.
