Newbie in newy intro

Hey guys
New to fto and this forum so just a quick hello and a question

Where is the best place to buy driveshafts from my new project a fto gpx 1997 auto, any help would be great

Firstly, welcome to the club. Now,there are quite a few different driveshafts, depending on 4sp tip, 5sp tip or manual and ABS/Non ABS and LSD or non LSD.

    The ones that are in it are rs and when driving yesterday there was a big cluck and one has popped out

    Sorry, but are you positive it's a 4spd?
    97 was when they went to 5spd tip.

    Unless it's a very early model, last of the 4s...

    Ours is an April 1997, and 5spd tip equipped.

    Might suggest you pop your de3a vin number in dstocks website to confirm your car.

    Ive got some driveshafts on the shelf in the shed. Problem is, should have labelled them when I took them out. You may need to make some measurements, but given the ones you are after are the most common ones, its likely I have some.

      I will have to get one of my mate to pull it out and measure it as just found out of the guy I bought it off that it was a 1995 build he had it advertised as a 1997 and my wife bought it for me as a project and only just got it last week
