FTO GR Front Bumper Midnight Blue [Wanted]
Hi All,
Does anyone have a spare front GR bumper for sale? Mine is all scratched up on the bottom and some chips coming off on the top. I would prefer the following image colour, so that it can be easy replacement, rather than me getting it sanded/painted again.
Cheers,
Rj

Just FYI
Any pre facelift bumper will fit, there's no difference between GPX GR etc

I know you said that you don't want to paint it again, but wouldn't this be the easiest option?
I'm sure if you find one, it won't have perfect paint either.

Definitly the easiest option, even my bar, which was brand new 8 months ago is not doing the best. the cost of shipping would cover the respray.PHIL069 wrote:I know you said that you don't want to paint it again, but wouldn't this be the easiest option?

There would have been a decent one in Adelaide, but I destroyed it during a ragequit session at the wreckers when trying to pry out headlights

@PHIL069 @vanadinite
I am considering the repaint option...not sure how much it would cost to get the whole bumper resprayed. Also would it be better if I took the bumper off and prepped it(sand/primed it) before taking it to respray?? Anyone have any experience doing this and did it reduce the cost of respray a whole lot??

Should be about $250-$300 for a paint shop to do it all.

Re: FTO GR Front Bumper Midnight Blue [Wanted]
That'd be about right. Kiz had his front and rear Dstocks bumpers prepped and painted for $700 (mates rates), so for a stock bumper to be prepped and painted, $350 should be maximum.PHIL069 wrote:Should be about $250-$300 for a paint shop to do it all.

Awesome, Thanks guys. $350 seems like a decent price. Although I would have to add another $100 on top being in Canberra. Somehow everything is expensive over here without justification.

For a quarter of the price you could do it yourself....

You're paint looks obviously mismatched on panels though. A proper shop will do some blending so you can't really tell.

No it doesn't...The fenders are a different silver... The rest ( things I mentioned above and painted myself) match perfectly.-Nighthawk- wrote:You're paint looks obviously mismatched on panels though. A proper shop will do some blending so you can't really tell.
