WTB: handling upgrade

Post by JohanGPX »

Hey guys, selling the fto soon & was thinking of getting a handling upgrade as my car has none atm.

First of all - if I'm selling, is a front or rear strut brace worth it considering I'm selling, and is anyone selling theirs?

I'll upload photos before I sell seeing as none of you have really seen my fto, but I'm gonna be so sad to let it go :(

Cheers!

WTF :?: :?:
Why does your car have no handling  ? Have you checked your tyres..
And no it's generally not worth modding the car, just for a sale....

If you win enough races you'll unlock the sports racing package and just press A to upgrade
Because nothing is faster than a p plater in a commodore.....
except maybe a p plater on a unicorn

I'll sell the front and rear strut bracess off mine if you want to buy them. PM me for details if u r keen.

If u r just putting the mods on for sale, then it's probably not worth your while. but if you just want to tighten up the chassis a bit for handling, strut braces are probably your cheapest option

There's potential for a thread about anything on FTO Australia

Haha how does it not make sense? - i don't have any aftermarket handling upgrades on my car. I have stock sway bars, suspension, no strut braces.

Better? :P

I think I'm buying Yang's, but thanks anyway!

Just before I decide - what's everyone's opinion on strut braces? How much more of an improvement is there? I've only driven one other fto that DID have a front strut brace and it handled corners a lot better than mine, having that said his had a little wider tires (still stock suspension).

The rear definitely made a huge improvement on mine, with only also the front strut brace and lowered springs. Can't comment much on the front as I only drove the FTO once without it before I bought it off Dwayne and we put the front one on.

Think I'll go ahead and get them, I'll still have the fto for another 2-3 months & it sounds worth it!

I got rear, then front...front didn't do much but rear is definitely well worth the money! :)

What's the differences between those front Cusco's anyway? I'm guessing foldable vs non-foldable but are any actually better than others?
