FTO AUSTRALIA

Hey guys just got a FTO after totaling my 08 Impreza RS (oh the pain). Getting this FTO did help ease that pain but I still miss my old car. Anyway I'm not sure if I made an impulse buy, i feel like i may have paid a bit too much. I'm a FTO and car noob and I was in a bit of a hurry to get a replacement car. I paid 4200 for it.

Its got a bit of that roof rust but a really nice paint job and body kit. The interior isnt in great condition either, i need to get a handbrake knob, suspension feels kind of off. Central locking remote was lost and alarms been disconnected. Inside kind of smells old. Also need headlights. 170000kms. Im thinking of selling this one and getting another better condition fto and doing it up to look the same as this one.

Wttc. You can fix all that stuff you mentioned in this car quite easily. 170k kms is good kms. How does the engine and gear box feel? Is it a manual? Show us some pics of the engine bay.

You don't need new headlight BTW if it's just that peeling that's the issue, a quick sand back and polish will have them looking like new!

This ^^. I would have said it was worth it just for those. And im guessing the rear bar isnt stock either is it...

There's a facelift bar on eBay for $195

I like the paintwork. I dont think it's a bad price, like has been said above, has a few extras and obviously in this case made it desirable.

Hopefully its mechanically sound

Welcome to the club. Price sounds about right for what it is, given a mint car is worth $8-10k.
