Dial Sets... How many types are there?

Post by MaxD »

Hi All,
I'm compiling a list of all the dials made for the FTO and where possible, providing as much detail as available. So, my question to you: do you have a set of dials different to those below or do you have further information on the dials below?

I know there is another type as it's attached to a set I have in the garage. It's white with red lettering and the same as "KMC Type 1 ???". I'll take a photo later as it's 1am here and I should really be asleep!!

I'm pretty sure the set I sold to Shenal look different than all these as well.

Why the draw towards white dials I wonder?

That green cluster is awesome man. So how do they work without those needles? Does it use a projector to display the readings? :P

      Cheers guys.

The Dials4U set are stickers and the Lockwood are OEM look. But I guess I should really include them all! :P

Your red set are likely to be part of the KMC Unknown Type 2 set. Are the non-EL? IE. Illuminated using the OEM bulbs?

Aha, the OEM version! Just about to add them. :)

Has anyone else got something different to those above? Be it colour, font, style, etc...
