Camskill is the cheapest and I am guessing that is where you got your price from.

Shiny! Man, stop tempting me to sink more money than is reasonable into the FTO, haha.

I have sunk well over 10-12,000++ into the coupe, over the past many many many years... I can say one thing for sure
ZERO regrets keeping the car and building it, rather than selling and buying something 'better'
a long in depth build gives you mad knowledge and skills that even some of the 'powerful' car owners have no idea on if they didnt build it from scratch themselves at every step

Yeah I'm about 10k into my build.

Given time and $ again, wouldn't do it.

why not? the FTO is a great shell to build up
and there is one thing i have learnt over my time, anything can be made to go fast and have power and handle well if you put thought into building it and dont mind a bit of custom work

Well, 10k is Galant money. And I have spent a year with the car not being driveable.

I think once it is actually finished and registered I will be happy with it. Just getting frustrated now. Everything that I have done has had problems (not always necessarily my fault)

Next time I will start with a running car and work from there. But like you said, has been good experience and I suppose if I had a daily the whole time it'd be ok.

But anyway, enough about my n00b build, on with your thread
