Can we start organising the cruise to the 2014 bonfire?
I can only get Friday > Monday off work.
If it is going to take longer than the time I have then I might have to fly over to Sydney.

I'll be able to do it if I can ride shotgun with somebody! I don't like the chances of my engine making the trip safely in its current condition :lol:

I'm up for the drive pending finances. At this stage we'll say yes but it's going to cost a lot in fuel :/

Also keen, but have to figure out if I'm doing anything else while I'm there.

Cheaper if we split it ;)

If we could get 4 people with 2 cars (mine could be one car), then we would all save money on splitting fuel, we could also drive there and back in one hit each way using 2 drivers per car.

FYI I went from dad's and back in my black fto (1800 Kms each way)
And it was only $200 fuel each way...

Yip at least double that for mine haha. But true unboosted fto is awesome on fuel esp highway cruising

Driving = $300 - $400 in fuel and 30+ hours driving return = FTO present @ bonfire.
Flying = $200 fares and 4 hours flying return + 5 hours driving to airport return + $90 parking = No FTO @ bonfire.

So if we can share costs and driving time then driving looks a bit moar inviting.
