6000k or 8000k for high beam?
hey guys,
cant decide weather to get 6000k or 8000k for high beam?
was reading and most people said 6000k is better for visibility and 8000k is more blue and cant see as much as a result.
i already have 6000k, in lowbeam which i just put in tonight, which is great, also have 6000k in my fogs.
im kinda thinking 6000k but not sure?
cheers

Stick with 6000k I reckon. 8000k doesn't make it look better, and will just decrease visibility while increasing unwanted attention.

4,300 apparently is the best for visibility and light output.

i suppose 5,300k isnt to far from 6000k, so visibility should be okspetz wrote:5,300 apparently is the best of visibility and light output.

4300k is pure white and what the factory FTO HID's are.

When you look at the bulb of 5300k its blue but the beam is pretty much white

HID's are a bad idea for high beams.
And as mentioned previously, 4300K is the highest legal limit while giving you good light output and visibility. Go beyond 4300K and you lose visibility to gain hektik factor.
