horn button

Post by SchumieFan »

Oh hi gais!

I'm after the nylon horn button plate that sits behind the skin of the pre face lift steering wheel...

I've never seen one that wasn't broken and mine broke when that idiot woman hit me and I got aggressive :D

Just checked ASA, quite right. That's annoying... I fabricated something for the mrs fto, can't remember what though. No doubt it was a dodgy meeting of araldite & some random material that was lying around in the garage.

I cut the bottom off one of the Mrs storage containers (tee hee) and built it up with pvc tape and cardboard...

I just used a piece of cardboard on my white fto and hated the spongy horn...

It works fine now, there's no gap between the skin and the bodge up... but I've superglued the button back together to hold it and I'll araldite it and sand it back I think

I used a mousepad. Keeps the texture and unnoticeable if u put the black facing outwards.
