Yes I know its been covered..

Basically my idle will sometimes stay up at 2,000rpm, sometimes more.

Usually it's fine but this morning started up at 2,500 from cold.

Not an idle screw issue obviously.. car is fine when in gear. Not so good with clutch in or in neutral.

I'm thinking vac leak of some description. Have a new stepper coming.. any other suggestions?

Mine occasionally idles first near the 2,000rpm at cold, and goes down when in gear, but mine has never gone higher?

I'll help an eye of your thread just in case something is starting to go in mine :?

Should jump to about 2k on first startup then gradually drop to about 800 when its warm.

Hmm.

I also have a fluctuating idle. Its almost like its misfiring but it isnt as rapid. And is fine under load.
