IMPORTANT BONFIRE INFORMATION

Post by SchumieFan »

~IMPORTANT BONFIRE INFORMATION~

NSW - Thinking the best idea would be a rendezvous with the Qld/Newwie folk at My place (Sydney Park, Alexandria) 7am

then straight down the Princes Highway, stop at McDonalds Heathcote 8am

then straight to Batemans Bay to meet the southerners 10:30/11am (with delays as always)

https://maps.google.com.au/maps?saddr=U ... s&t=m&z=15

The only reason we were meeting at Pheasents Nest was because we were going through the Kangaroo Valley (Vixens first 1 pegger!), but i think with the amount of Northerners coming it would be unfair to throw them through there and a direct route would be better and also require a slightly later departure time from Sydney.

Thoughts?

Qld -

Trip is pretty much same as previous years. We are just planning to break the trip up. How/Why doesn't matter. End of the day, whatever we decide about the route, we won't be in Sydney before Friday 5pm. :)

This is the list from the other thread.

6. Shenal
7. Joab
8. Vectose *
9. chebus
10. Fallknox
11. FTOwnage *
12. Terry-Dobson 94

Names in * we might meet en route, or we will meet them at Daniel's place on Friday after 5. Can decide that eventually. This doesn't affect the route plan from BNE-SYD.

Please check with me or Yang about the trip's plan. We will discuss/relay msg to the rest of the members here. Getting a different version of the route from different QLD members will just add more confusion for no reason.
S.A. - Up to you, but maybe meet with VIC crew day before, need to organize yourself. but we will plan to all congrigate at Batemans Bay at the time above.

VIC - See you as always ;-)

Qld crew are the most unorganized so far, we are a month out, you guys need to at least get a plan on paper...
NSW crew has offered beds and mattresses, you need to provide info to those nsw guys that offered.

Lawso offered floor space from Thursday but with limited parking.
Daniel offered floor space from Friday with much better parking.

it's up to you guys whether you take it or arrive at the meet early Saturday morning.

At the end of the day it's completely up to everyone to organize themselves but the drive is made a lot easier if it's done in convoy.

WE need to get organized guys

The only question is are you guys doing the drive in 1, 2 or 3 days.

I am unavailable until Friday arvo at 5pm meaning no accomodation unless you can all stay at Lawso's, but I don't know if that will be able to happen and we can't just assume Lawso can do that.

Lol, we already have a plan in place and sorted. We are reaching Sydney on Friday after 5. If we reach early, we will drive around King's cross picking up coke and hookers. Don't worry about how we get to Sydney, leave that to us. I sorted the trip out with Yang last time...minus me falling asleep. So we will get the same done....without the falling asleep part. :P

I'll fly the flag for North & West Sydney siders... and those that like to sleep in.

I don't 'do' early, but will aim to be at the Pheasants Nest servo at 10am if anyone wants to convoy with the red rocket.

The valley either via the hume or via roberstson/macquarie pass from Albion Park would be awesome haha, my backyard twisties  on the way back maybe?
Any meeting point for those further south of sydney?
