Ok so my oil light is coming on at idle and when you bring the revs up it goes out.
Is there more then one sensor that will bring the oil light on, as when I disconnect the oil pressure sensor (the one at the bottom on the front of the engine or RH side of the vehicle) on this FTO the light stays on unlike with my black FTO it goes off. So it seems like something else's is bringing it on. And it seems like a sensor to me as it changes with the rpm. Oh and it's a non-mivec.

Oil light coming on
yeah the levels perfect all I can think is it's maybe to thin or something but even still it should go out when I unplug the sensor

Could be a dodgy oil pressure sender. Tried changing it?

Re: Oil light coming on
For intense if you went and turned your cars ignition on right but don't start the car the oil light will be on because there is no pressure because the engine isn't running. But if you unplug it the light will go out which is what happens on my red and my black FTO but if I do that on the pink one the light just gets a little dimmer

Re: Oil light coming on
The light works by when the oil pressure is low it earths the 12v signal going to it so if I disconnect the 12 v completely it should go out but it just dims on mine I'm wondering if I have a bad earth somewhere or if the wire is shorting out somewhere
