Gee that is a big difference...

Good work ... Are you going to give them another touch up in red, change colour, or leave as is... :?:

Ill probably just leave them how they are for now, They don't look to bad how they are, but that will probably change when I get some nice rims in the future.

Lazy bugger!...

It is not that hard... Turn it into a pizza night at your joint... Start the car, order pizza, quick eat, finish car then moar beer..... While the paint dries...

Yeah, stock rims are good at hiding that kind of stuff... But at least all they will need is a quick scuff, clean up, and quick spray ... So shouldn't be too hard or time consuming..

Bent and Attached the mesh to the bonnet, rather then some flimsy clips that was allowing the mesh to rattle.

Silver stock bonnet off and the Evo CF bonnet goes on.

Making holes for the wiper nozzles.

Finished look of the bonnet.

Attempted to remove the front bar to try to get a better fit and access the damage to the headlights... it resisted, it took two hours to just get the bottom lip off so I called it quits for the day.

Some of the damage on the lip, obvious that the previous owners didn't give a sh*t about the front bar

So when it rains does your engine bay just get a mad wash??
I have a guard like thing under that mesh that channels the water out.

It came attached to the bonnet. It has about 6 mini screws that hold it it in. don't really have any good shots of it though.

Thought i might update this.

New light housing went in and front bar aligned better
Image
Image

During a nighttime RBT blitz i was informed that my licence plate had to be moved from within the mouth of the front bar (Which is fair enough) so i couldnt drive it untill its sucured in a more visable area
Image

So i ended mounting it off to the side, atleast until i get a new front bar.
The main idea of the mounting,

Finished the mounting for the licence plate.

Unfortunately that is also a defect. Has to be visible 90 degrees each side of vehicle, but meh. Get rid of the veilside and you'll be right

Interesting they didn't defect you for the carbon bonnet actually, would've thought they'd do you for that before the number plate. Lucky!

Meanwhile, car looks awesome.

Went though a rbt/car inspection a few days ago with the licence plate like that, they didnt have a care in the world about it being there.
And for the bonnet, Well so far they haven't said anything, had a few check it but not do anything about it, just need to wait for one cop which is having a bad day.

Yep... even when I had my carbon wrapped bonnet it got attention.

And considering there was a big f**k off pod filter under there, not ideal...

Eventually youll get a dickhead of a cop that pings you for it. Just pass the attitude test and you should be alright for a while at least.

Here it seems that if your record is clean and your respectful to the cop, you can get away with a lot of things, I have friends with not so delightful records get defected for almost the same mods as i have... as long as i dont f**k around it should be fine... hopefully

I feel sorry for you guys and the stupid things they get you for, I have my number plate almost right at the rear of the bumper gap, and a multi-color car at the moment and the cops don't ever look at anything on it, even when i got pulled over the other day at 10PM on a Friday...
