Should be fine, pretty hard to bend a valve on these by hand. As long as you found the mistake before you ran the car then should be OK.

No worries gents, thank you for the reassurance, I've gone ahead with it all and it's all back together and given it a test drive.. whether or not it stands the test of time is to be seen but no dramas so far.

So on my to do list now, I have to fix a power steering leak, horn, fresh treads and I'm ready for rego renewal!

Work is taking a good bit of time out of me, but once rego is out of the way I'll be looking to do body work, styling and a new paint job. $$ ouch.

I'm pretty interested in dstocks front bar, and the bozzspeed bar (if I can find one.)

Hoping to get this done by end of January of next year!

Once the car is registered and interior back together I'll update this thread with some pics.

Unfortunately I've gone and had a car accident (not involving the FTO), so looks like I'll have to divert my funds until January.
