The computer/module behind the rear quarter panels

Post by bumpak »

Ok so im nearing the end of my FTO research, ive found the O2 sensor (attached to the engine loom) and found the lambda sensor (attached to the interior loom) now i also found this 1996 Macintosh computer which sits behind the right rear quarter panel, does anyone know what this is? Thanks :)

If it's located behind the drivers side rear passenger trim, then it would be the factory central locking remote module.
I doubt that you would have factory central locking remote, so it is a bit useless.
You will find that it has a small wire/aerial coming out of it.

I took mine out because the sub made it rattle.

...and isn't the O2 sensor and the lambada sensor 2 different names for the same thing?

Yes it does have the antenna thank you ever so much, so its going in the bin. Yes they are the same thing with 2 names but in the fto manual im currently reading it says the front one (closest to engine) is the O2 sensor and the rear the lambda sensor :? But according to wikipedia you are right.
